Clarification Text on the Protection of Personal Data

This Clarification Text is prepared by our company, ÇEVİKBAŞ AMBALAJ (Data Controller), in accordance with Article 10 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("Law") and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for the Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform, to inform you about the purposes, legal grounds, collection methods, potential transferees of your personal data, and your rights under the Law.

1. Purpose of Personal Data Processing

Your collected personal data will be processed in accordance with the Law for the purposes of:

1. Provision of products and services, execution of sales and marketing processes,
2. Planning and execution of customer relationship management processes,
3. Execution of contract processes, fulfillment of legal obligations,
4. Execution of finance and accounting operations,
5. Execution of communication activities,
6. Determining and implementing our company’s commercial and business strategies.

2. Method of Collection and Legal Grounds of Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through automatic or non-automatic methods via contracts concluded with our Company, forms filled in electronic or physical environments, e-mails, telephone calls, website visits, and similar means.

Your personal data is processed based on legal grounds specified in Article 5 of the Law, such as the establishment or performance of a contract, fulfillment of a legal obligation, and the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject. Your explicit consent is obtained in situations requiring it.

3. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to suppliers, business partners, legally authorized public institutions and organizations, and private individuals in line with the purposes mentioned above and in accordance with the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

4. Your Rights as the Data Subject

As a data subject, under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred, to request rectification if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and other rights specified in the Law.
